Melissa Summers is a passionate mental health professional and community advocate, currently serving as the Director of Mental Health and Community Outreach at Harvest Solutions. With a deep commitment to bridging gaps in mental health access, Melissa develops strategic partnerships with organizations, shelters, and advocacy groups to integrate digital resources and innovative support tools into communities in need.
Her extensive background in crisis intervention, co-occurring disorders, and vocational support has shaped her mission to empower individuals through accessible and technology-driven solutions. Prior to her role at Harvest Solutions, Melissa spent over eight years as a Community Support Specialist with the Fidelity ACT Team at Burrell Behavioral Health, where she provided comprehensive case management, employment support, and crisis intervention to individuals facing mental health challenges.
A skilled leader in program development, community engagement, and education, Melissa has also served as a preceptor and mentor, guiding emerging professionals in the behavioral health field. She has led psychosocial educational groups, assisted individuals in navigating community resources, and worked tirelessly to ensure access to employment and educational opportunities for underserved populations.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Human and Social Services from Ottawa University and is pursuing a Master’s in Addiction Counseling. She is committed to leveraging technology and community collaboration to create sustainable mental health solutions, ensuring that individuals receive holistic, person-centered care.
